<description>I was there and even I like what Richard is saying here.
Since we really have not seen him for more than 20 minutes a day for the last week, I figured his brain may be slowly draining and losing his memories of the trip. So here is the short version to help him remember....
SUNDAY - Issues with clock and DST. First day on water starts around 7:00. We are morning crew, 10 in one SUV. Doug tries to launch the SUV. Both of us struggle a bit on the water, but me more so. Coaching is helping. We learn about duct tape. And Richard shreds his hand on an emergency grab. We learn about limes and super glue. Swim, hot-tub and Dinner at the Villa, bed early. Tardy Dave gets his first nick name.
MONDAY - We take the late shift and arrive at lake around 8:30. Still trying to apply coaching. At end of day Gordon sets up me and Richard with new HO Monza&#039;s to use the rest of the week. Pool, drinks, and dinner at Villa.
TUESDAY - Morning shift - Greg drives and freaks out Rhonda. (is that the right day Rich?) Skiing much better, feeling much better. Dad gets massage. Pool, drinks, and dinner at Villa.
WEDNESDAY - late shift. Richard takes day off - hands are shot. http://bensonwdby.home.comcast.net/~bensonwdby/SkiParadise/P186.jpg
Dad makes the course at 15off/28mph (was that Wed or Thurs?).
Dinner at Tres Vidas (sp?) country club. Nice pool and facility. Highest Bar Bill ever for Ski Paradise as Tardy Dave becomes Party Dave and buys a $109 bottle of Don Quillio for the table. Then he misses the bus again as some of us head to the Cliff Divers downtown.
THURSDAY - I think we were late shift again. Richard skiied through the pain. Dad switched back to the Connelly for second set and pulled a hamstring and was done for the week. Richard showing improvements. Dad nuys more beer for crowd.
FRIDAY - Late shift - letting the guys who make the course regularly get the best water. Richard skiied well. Tip the drivers and Pepe. Dinner at a nice restaurant near the villa with a great view. We paid for that one... Tip the coaches.
SATURDAY - breakfast, hang out by pool, head to airport. Long wait as flight is delayed. Met same folks from Atlanta that we saw on way down. Made connection and got back around 11:00 but luggange handling issues kept us there for about an hour.
That is the short story. Richard can refere to this as he embelishes so nicely...
