This stuff is fun…

Finals are over. That is grand. I pulled off a 3.75 this semester. I must say that I am rather proud of it, let’s hope I keep it up.

Needless to say that was the main cause for the lack of work on shatteredcube. It’s the summer and I am trying to be productive so I have begun to work once more on the site. My current challenge, which I think I have just solved as I type this, is to find a way to create dynamic link lists without knowing how many different lists I need and how many things belong in that list. I must do this using one database. I choose one because I don’t need to make a new database for each type then and it saves on effort and space — I hope. I think I have found how I fill do it and I am rather proud because it only took a little bit of searching to figure it out.

As for now I continue to look for a job. I prefer one that involves web design, but you can’t always have your cake and eat it too. With that thought in mind I have applied to a variety of jobs. I assume one will bite and I will have something to do this summer. Yes, I actually like to work. Something about keeping busy and achieving goals is very satisfying.

Also, this summer starting on the 14th of June I will be attending a summer class. This class’s sole purpose is to improve my GPA and increase the probability of me getting into CSOM (Carlson School of Business and Management.) In addition I will need to join some clubs and activities. I am looking at the Supply Chain Management club as well as my desired major the MIS club. Who knows, I might also run for MSA (No, not the school I attended for a couple of years. It’s the Minnesota Student Association.) It looked interesting helping my friend run for president last year. Definitely something I would be interested in.

Ok, that’s about all for now. I need to continue on building the Musings page. After that my worst fear lies ahead –- a content management system. Good bye for now.

Have you shattered a cube today?
