End of March

Not just any march, but the death march. That doesn’t make any sense but I was still satisfied to bring up memories of C&C Red Alert.

So it appears as if no one likes to discuss because some random person that I honestly don’t know posted before just about anyone. (shoutout to SL2Loveless) Until you guys become more outgoing I guess I’ll just have to remain a Link Pimp and try to hook you up with what I find by visiting the many sites I frequent daily.

Life is pretty cool right now. My grades aren’t going to be the best they ever have, but I am ok with that. I am thinking that Carlson might not be the best choice for me. I will still apply to Carlson and see where that goes but I am getting excited about the freedom that an econ major brings with it. I will have a number of electives that I can use to improve my artistic abilities and take a couple of guitar classes. Now when I become a bum I will have usable street talents vs. my current repertoire of drunken profanity and public nudity. I took this nifty screenshot of my schedule for next semester and am even debating putting it up here for all you stalkers.

Subject change…so much is happening in the lives of those around me and I don’t feel it proper to talk about it on here because I don’t have that right. However, I am glad for some, happy for others, impressed by some, sad for some, hearfelt for others and generally just happy that no serious harm has come to those I know. I know there are ups and downs, remember "Life’s a garden, dig it." Watch Joe Dirt too, it’s a funny movie and wow, the horse scene. *drools* I mean I like horses, right?

Discussion: Naps

Well I have to go to night class here in a few minutes and I can’t say I’m too excited. I was attacked by all that is evil, a nap. Nothing good comes from a nap. You only find yourself missing hours of time and more tired than when you first fell asleep. It did help the bags under my eyes, but that’s no consolation to the zombie like mindset I now have. All I can think is "urrrg…need caffeine…" That is not healthy thinking! I am firmly against naps; yet every week around 1:00PM on monday I find myself succumbing to its maniacal grasp.

What I ask everyone is: What is your position on naps?

Do you view them as a boon above all others to mankind or as the messenger of satan? It’s ok to find middle ground too, but "Naps are….ok" doesn’t sound as exciting.

shatter a cube, and damn naps!

Easter Weekend

Before you do anything, watch this movie, it made me laugh so hard. Well done guys. Now this movie is just absolutely amazing. Makes me wish I was better at that kinda thing.

Ok check those movies out, I highly suggest it. As for today I hit up Silicon Motor Speedway where I proceeded to learn a lot from the vets and competed well with Justin and John. My star performance of the day came at the end where I finished 7th at Daytona International Speedway. This was absolutely amazing. I learned a few things about pushing and drafting and I learned that I will be wanting to change to a manual transmission. Oh dear is all I say to that.

Tomorrow is reserved for hanging out with the girl and then heading over to John‘s to hear his kick ass sound system. I’m looking forward to that. Around 3:00 in the morning sunday morning I will be picking up my family from the airport and their spring break vacation. It’s gonna be a busy day tomorrow and it’s almost to my advantage to sleep in. Yet I will msot likely just go to bed now.

After that it’s Easter Sunday. Get to spend time with the family and probably kick back a few beers. Good food, good people, good times is all I have to say. Happy Easter to those that celebrate it and happy sunday to those that just like sundays!

That’s about all for now. I am not sure if the links are going to work correctly due to some code I changed for something else. I shall have to wait and see. Goodnight world; life’s a garden, dig it.

shatter your car into a wall at 190mph, but only if you are a professional driver on a closed course.

That didn’t take long…

Well in a rather short amount of time Justin has managed to hack the comments system. I’d like to give him lots of credit for the ingenuity but it was more on account of me being lazy and forgetting something. However, thanks to that minor act, I am now much more secure. Kudos to you Justin if you find another way.

If anyone knows about general hacks or different types please discuss in the comments and help us all learn how to protect ourselves.

As of right now I can contribute:

Mysql Injections: Using escape characters to change the syntax of a mysql query. Thus letting you do pretty much whatever you want.

Javascript Insertion: As Justin did. Allowing for redirects and other nasty things.

Taking advantage of superglobals and forms: Using foreign post documents to add uncontrolled data and declare variables.

There are others but I don’t know much about them and often are stopped using methods to prevent these 3. If you know others please share.

Until then shatter a cube, not my website!

General warning: I don’t suggest attempting hacks like this unless you like the idea of my boomstick of banning up your a**.
